This job contributes to REI’s success by taking a lead role in analyzing and preparing reports, presenting said reports to leadership, and planning for activity based on forecast models. They will execute workforce management strategies such as identifying and evaluating historical data, productivity, scheduling, and real-time strategies to improve service level.
Analyzes past trends, forecasts future volumes, and creates plans to allocate resources to maintain business service levels while minimizing operating costs
Matches staffing to workload arrival patterns, planning schedules, maintaining accurate staffing data, assisting with long-range staffing plans, collaborating on decisions/reporting, and handing multiple tasks aimed at meeting/exceeding ongoing service levels and occupancy objectives
Completes Adhoc reporting as required
Reports pertinent information and statistics to management in order to identify common problems/trends
Assists with the development, deployment, and management of new Workforce Management technology solutions selected and utilized
Models and acts in accordance with REI’s guiding values and mission.
Bring your passion and expertise
4 years of experience in data analysis and report design or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven competency in understanding and compiling short and long term staffing plans incorporating multiple work types
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred
5-10 years related experience using WFM/WFO software preferred
5-10 years related experience with manual Erlang-C Calculation preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in advanced spreadsheet applications, database concepts and applications, and predictive modeling/forecasting
Experience in corporate or financial reporting, along with experience in preparing budgets/reports and analyzing budgeted/actual variances
Familiarity with corporate data systems including customer contact, membership, pricing, provider data systems, print, mail, and telecom
Experience in Activity Based Costing
