We are looking for a seasoned BI professional who can architect,

design, solution and deliver on a spectrum of demands across data acquisition

& integrations, insights, analytics, dashboards and scorecards.

Who are we: The BITS (Business Intelligence & Technology Stack) team is

the go-to partner for OCI’s Business Operations Planning and Strategy team

(BOPS) for enabling business insights, analytics, automation, tooling, and

workflow processes. The team is comprised of Technical Program Managers,

Business Intelligence leads, Data Engineers and Software Developers. Our

mission is to scale OCI’s decision processes across demand planning,

forecasting, capacity planning, capacity management, supply chain,

infrastructure provisioning and utilization.

We collaborate closely with Supply Chain Operations to build

collaborative tooling that simplifies the cycle of coordination for BOPS and

SCO, interfacing with Oracle systems to bridge planning and execution gaps. We

drive the engagement and prioritization of business insights and workflow

automations based on business drivers and success outcomes for demand planning,

variance, excess & overages.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Prioritize

business needs to deliver on analytics, BI and reporting experiences

  • Transform

the BI experiences as a self-serve capability

  • Drive

platform maturity for data store, data mart, data pipes and other data

distribution services

  • Leverage

cloud & big data oriented techniques for a sustainable cloud based


  • Contribute

to and manage to standards and processes for agile delivery and operations

  • Engage

with the business operational leads and TPM to structure and prioritize

business areas where insights can have the biggest impact, drive insights


  • Partner

with the TPM and Business functional leads iteratively to validate that the

solution outcomes fulfill the business needs

  • Ensure

solutions are thoroughly tested, delivered timely and accurately

  • Provide

ongoing assessment of solutions usage to determine feature updates and


  • Ensure

service levels are met and reported on

  • Support

cross-functional requirement sessions and user acceptance testing as required

  • Provide

guidance and training to business users as applicable to support the business

Key Qualifications:

  • 8

years of experience in all aspects of BI, Analytics, BI design and

architecture, Information architecture and Master Data Management skills

  • Experience

building and operationalizing highly available, scalable, reliable and

automated BI experiences through multiple project cycles

  • Expertise

in BI development with enterprise BI stacks (Oracle BI stack, Microsoft BI

stack, Open source BI stacks)

  • SQL

proficiency, expertise with data mart design principles, STAR schema, SNOWFLAKE

schema designs, data warehouse architectures, ETL architectures, dashboard and

visualization expertise (OBIEE, Tableau, PowerBI, SuperSet)

  • Experience

working with large scale cloud BI technologies

  • Passion

for solving challenges, demonstrated innovative thinking and problem solving


  • Excellent

written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated

ability to work in ambiguous situations across organizational boundaries

  • Attention

to detail with drive for results

  • Bachelors

in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems or

closely related field

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
