Transforming Age Lifestyle Coordinator in Seattle, Washington

Skyline is an upscale retirement community located in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood. As Seattle’s only True Life Care retirement community, we offer our residents independent living, assisted living, rehabilitation services, memory care, and skilled nursing.

We are excited to share we're seeking an energetic, outgoing full-time Lifestyle Coordinator II for our Assisted Living community.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Tuesday - Saturday

  • 8:30am - 5:00pm

The Lifestyle Coordinator II is responsible for assisting the Lifestyle Director in providing activities, programs and opportunities for residents that promote a high level of health, wellbeing, engagement and growth.

Some of the primary duties and responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Assists in planning, scheduling and conducting lifestyle programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for the residents

  • Attends all community planned functions and coordinates event from beginning to end including setup, running, and breaking down for the event

  • Helps plan appropriate programs for holidays and special event

  • Implements the calendar of events as scheduled by the Director

  • Distributes community newsletter. Meets with new residents to introduce the program

  • Provides ongoing communication with residents and, as necessary, family members.

  • Assists in leadership of wellness programs

  • Maintains a database and prepares reports on resident assessments, participation and satisfaction

  • Interacts with residents, guests and staff in at atmosphere of hospitality

  • Protects the privacy of the resident when communication oral and written information

  • Promotes the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility

Education and/or Equivalent Experience, Skills and Abilities

  • One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and external constituents
