Amazon Corporate LLC Finance Manager - AWS Infrastructure in Seattle, Washington

In this role, you will provide financial support for all of our data center land and building construction investments worldwide. You will partner with the AWS Infrastructure real estate, engineering, construction, new region, and existing region supply teams to ensure we are delivering best-cost solutions and managing the financial forecasting / planning and close controllership processes along the way. Key Responsibilities: * Partner with the AWS Infrastructure real estate, engineering, construction, new region, and existing region supply teams to ensure we are delivering best-cost solutions * Develop, maintain, and report on KPI's to ensure we are optimizing our investments * Support business case development on real estate and construction proposals * Manage the financial forecasting / planning and close controllership processes * Invent ways to continually manage the business at a fine grain in a highly scalable manner while enabling crisp communication of key drivers to senior leadership * Help prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new deals BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business or related field * 7+ years of experience in a finance role * Ability to work independently, partner cross-functionally, and be self-motivated in a fast-paced and rapidly changing technology environment * Advanced modeling skills including advanced Excel skills * Solid business judgment and controllership focus * Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused, professional demeanor * Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload * A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations * Ability to dissent, while building trust with your business partners PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * MBA or similar degree is preferred * Familiarity with financial systems such a Cognos TM1 preferred * Ability to work independently, partner cross-functionally, and be self-motivated in a fast-paced and rapidly changing technology environment * Advanced modeling skills including advanced Excel skills * Solid business judgment and controllership focus * Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused, professional demeanor * Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload * A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations * Ability to dissent, while building trust with your business partners Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
