The Boeing Commercial Airplanes Production Engineering organization is seeking Equipment & Tool Designer to support the 737 program in Renton, WA
Investigate, create and reviews equipment and tooling concepts and designs to ensure its functionality for use by the shop.
Participates in product design reviews to support the build plan and establish technical requirements for producibility.
Research designs to create and revise usage instructions.
Provides technical support for engineering changes and discrepancies by investigating problems, and analyzing data to identify solutions.
Conducts studies to determine current condition and make recommendation for disposition of the equipment and tooling.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Responsibilities include the following:
Minimum 1 or more years of experience with Tool Design/ Liaison
Proven track record of being able to solve problems
1 year or more of CATIA V5 or similar CAD software, MS Office Applications
AA degree in a related discipline
Operational/ Tool Fabrication experience
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
