Microsoft Corporation Principal Content PM Lead in Redmond, Washington

Office’s Modern Assistance & Support team (MAX) is looking for an experienced leader with user experience and content strategy skills to drive the modernization of help and learning experiences for Office and Microsoft 365 admins. Admin centers are a critical area for driving Commercial NPS and competitive advantage, and content experiences play a significant role in the customers’ admin center experience, impacting setup and config, first-run experiences, guided workflows, feature design, in-app learning experiences; and help and support experiences.

Key outcomes and accountabilities

• Modernization of Office 365 web help content: reduce web content footprint, deep link into admin center

• Direct participation and contribution to the M365 admin center design process

• Optimization of all admin center UI strings and other in-app content

• Thought-leadership for in-app content experiences including task-level in-app help (current and future admin center designs) and guided workflows

• Increasing rates of success for Admin Self Help Success (by leading coordinated action across product teams, support teams, and Customer Success Engineering)

• Scaling and optimization of chatbots in the Help and Support funnel

• Representing Help and Learning scenarios in M365 Admin Center design and planning

• Planning and implementing content-product telemetry strategy and success metrics for all investments

• Leadership and development of a team of 5-7 ICs


• 5-7 years team leadership experience

• 7-10 years experience working to design/build customer experiences (could include experience in Content Dev, Marketing, or PM/Dev)

• Strong technical skills to work closely with PM and Dev and to provide thought leadership to customer experience design and implementation

• Strong data and analytics skills to lead the envisioning and creation of new impact metrics

• High natural curiosity and energy levels to drive rapid learning and cross-group partnering
