Zodiac Aerospace CCA Technician in MARYSVILLE, Washington

The Engineered Materials facility of Zodiac Aerospace, located in Marysville WA is recruiting for a 1st Shift CCA Technician for its Marysville facility. Shift hours are from 5:30am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday. The CCA Technician will apply adhesives to honeycomb and aluminum core to prepare aerospace parts for further manufacturing into fairings, spoilers, etc in aircraft. The CCA techs use utility knives and shears to cut materials for lay up, weigh and mix 2 part adhesives, splice materials as needed, as well as operate various types of equipment such as bell jars, vacuum tables, ovens, etc. Will also need to complete production paperwork.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Applying adhesives to honeycomb and aluminum core.

  • Lay up of materials and vacuum bagging parts.

  • Operation of ovens and other equipment in the department.

  • Participating in operational improvement activities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • May be asked to cross train in other areas.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to speak/read English effectively and to read/interpret engineering drawings, customer and company specifications, as well as technical publications.

  • Must be familiar with standard and metric measurements.

  • 1-3 years steady work history is preferred.

  • Must be highly motivated, organized and task oriented.

  • Must be able to learn to effectively use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, scales, etc.

  • Excellent eye-hand coordination is required.

  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

  • Must be able to lift 40+ pounds.

  • Must be available to work overtime as required.
