Swedish Medical Center Starbucks Manager in Edmonds, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Starbucks Manager (1.0 FTE, Days) to work for Starbucks at the Swedish Edmonds Campus in Edmonds, WA.
The Starbucks Store Manager exercises discretion in managing the overall operation of the stores. In particular, a majority of time is spent hiring, building, leading and coaching teams of people, inspiring the highest levels of quality food, customer experience, cleanliness and operations. Maintains the Starbucks experience for customers. This position is responsible for store-level financial results and all operational metrics.
In this position you will:
Develop and administer budget and provide variance analysis. Complete all monthly financial information, including measurement and analysis of financial results
Interview, hire, and evaluate performance using competency based criteria, and recommend change in status of employees supervised in accordance with established human resource standards, including progressive discipline when appropriate
Adjust staffing patterns or assignments to meet changes. Responsible for all timekeeping and dependability tracking
Assure all Starbucks and Swedish operational standards are met and the store is consistently compliant with the siren’s eye standards. Assure Daily Duty Rosters are completed and filed and ready for Detailed Store Visits (DSV) and Quality Assurance Safety Audits (QASA)
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree. Equivalent food service experience in a leadership, supervisory, or management role may be substituted for education requirement
Current State of Washington Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit
Food safety certification within 90 days of hire
Previous experience in Starbucks retail leadership/operations or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Food Safety or HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) training preferred
