The Dietary Aide supports the mission of providing quality healthcare to the patients of WhidbeyHealth by providing the highest level of service in the preparation and delivery of food services to patients, families, staff and all members of the community. The Dietary Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment while assisting with food preparation, serving and cashiering in the West Wind Cafe, delivering trays to patient care areas and is expected to be a professional and personable representative of the organization in all interactions. Weekend Duty / Holiday Rotation
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Qualified candidates must have knowledge of food production and storage with the ability to use a variety of kitchen equipment. One (1) year of restaurant or food handling experience preferred. Current and valid Food Handler's Permit required to be maintained. High school diploma or equivalent required.
