Seattle Genetics is bringing REVIT services and space planning in-house and we are looking for a talented, flexible, and creative individual to help with the transition.

The Facilities Space Planner contributes to the Facilities team, reporting to the Sr. Project Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining all space planning activities and data, including seat assignments, and space allocation floor plans. This individual will validate and ensure data quality, as well as collect and integrate floor plans and seating updates for use by team members and facilities management.


Space Data Management

  • Maintains integrity and accuracy of occupancy information

  • Maintains as-builts and data in REVIT files

  • Utilizes headcount projections to enable forecasting of use and occupancy allocation, building utilization, and density for the purpose of managing real property assets and site cost allocations

  • Gather and distribute seating data that is important to other teams for seating metrics and reports

  • Works with management to share occupancy information with users to support their function, or to improve accuracy and timeliness of updates

  • Creates consistent formats/reports for use in managing occupancy information for each building and provides regular updates to internal business partners such as Finance, HR, and Accounting

Space Planning, Test Fits, and Move Planning

  • Support Project Managers and Move Team for ongoing moves/adds/changes and capital improvement projects

  • Creates short-range facilities plans (e.g., site, office, and lab) as needed to assist in decision making for management teams

  • Provide test fits and trial layouts to support development of project scope, including architectural and furniture elements

  • Special projects such as inventory and tracking of furniture assets onsite, assist Project Team with development of as-built library

  • Other architectural/CAD support and specialty projects for other Facilities Groups as needed

  • Other related activities as directed by the Sr. Project Manager


  • At least 5 years of professional experience in facilities space planning. Mid to large organization experience is preferred.

  • Must be an expert-user of REVIT

  • BS or BA degree in related field or similar

  • Experience with space management software programs (example; FM Solutions or CAFM)

  • Ability to work in fast-changing environment

  • Must have strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. (Experience presenting to upper management preferred.)

  • Customer service driven

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)

  • Minimum, local, travel may be required
