Adecco Engineering & Technical is currnelty looking for a Business Systems Analyst for our client in the Vancouver area!
**This group provides planning, analysis, engineering, design, project management and maintenance support for Information Technology systems used within our clients Control Center environment.
**Work associated with this position will be directly related to business process support for systems change management, process and compliance requirements for the organization.
**The position requires a very detailed person that understands NERC and NIST change management processes and is able to effectively implement those processes and provide direction to others that are required to utilize those processes.

Responsibilities
Support organization system change and configuration management efforts
Serve as a process point of contact for the organization
Support system modeling
Define, develop, and document new processes and procedures as required
Support process and procedure roll-out
Develop and provide training as required
Support organizational requirements to meet compliance as it relates to change management.
Develop and document processes and procedures to support NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) Mandatory Reliability standards CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) and Department of Energy NIST/FISMA (National Institute of Standards and Technology/Federal Information Security Management Act) security requirements
Develop training materials and job aids to support above
Support the development of necessary documentation to support reporting and audit requirements.
Provide quality assurance and oversight for organization to ensure compliance to above standards and guidelines
Provide support to NERC annual certification process and any other spot audit or compliance request.
May be required to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a directly related field is preferred but can substitute specialized industry experience
Related Experience – A minimum combination of work-related experience, on the job training, and/or vocational training is desired.
Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements and demonstrate proven skills in Business Systems Analyst experience.
Minimum Experience Required - 5 or more years experience working directly with the management/administration of an organizational change management process – this must include at least two years in an environment requiring NERC / FISMA / SOX or equivalent regulatory compliance drivers.
Experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for a high availability environment
Experience in the use of system change and configuration management tools/systems
Previous compliance and/or audit support experience
Experience with process development and roll-out
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, to include Microsoft Office 2010
Additional Skills Desired

Configuration management concepts and practices
Project management and coordination concepts and principles
Compliance and standards as applied to systems development
Process and procedure development
Highly qualifying experience
Experience with the design and implementation of security standards, policies or procedures in a high availability environment.
Experience implementing NIST/FISMA standards/guidelines
Experience applying NERC CIP standards
