As the Sr. UX Manager on Amazon Devices, you will manage a team of high performing UX Designers, Design Technologists, and User Researchers. The team defines and designs UX interfaces across platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile) for the Amazon Devices online shopping experience, toolsets to streamline processes and create internal efficiencies, and technology deployed into physical retail to support Amazon Device sales. You will manage workflow across the entire team, be a stakeholder in business reviews, and manage priorities, capacity, and delivering results.

You will have a passion for designing innovative user experiences informed by customer research, industry best practices, and iterative testing. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to deal with ambiguity within an open and collaborative peer environment. The ideal candidate for this position will be at ease visualizing an experience in the abstract and then being able to drive that vision into solid design deliverables that achieve customer goals and business requirements. You will be able to explore multiple design solutions to a given problem or feature, and communicate those solutions visually through sketches, user flows, wireframes, functional prototypes, and/or high-fidelity designs, as necessary. As a natural leader, excellent communicator, passionate advocate, and creative professional, our ideal candidate will embody and inspire a positive, high-energy, high-performance culture in their team, creating a measurable impact across Amazon and relentlessly advocating for the customer.
