Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in technology driven business transformation and is looking for world class candidates to lead the development and delivery of some of our most strategic channel partner initiatives including engaging a select set of partners to structure and deliver unique global alliances. As the program leader of this effort, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop, structure and deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of Amazon's infrastructure and platform web services across a select set of strategic partners. You will work closely with a broad set of internal stakeholders including partner development managers, solutions architects, field sales leaders, service team leaders, marketing, corporate development, legal, finance and the senior executive team. In addition, this role will engage the most Sr. level executives from the partner organizations including CEO, CFO and CTOs along with field sales leaders. This person will lead the overall program effort to define and deliver the alliance plans, agreements and execution strategy, comprised of market/opportunity definition, business model development, solution offerings, resource investments, go-to-market engagement along with the mechanisms to measure success and course correct as needed. Roles & Responsibilities: Engage C-level partner executives along with the broader AWS team to propose, define and deliver on unique multi-year alliance engagements that will deliver meaning outcomes for customers, AWS and our partners. Drive execution of strategic partner initiatives, ensuring that each deliverable is met with a keen focus on go-to-market execution, leveraging many different internal and external resources. Set near term and long term goals for each initiative and ensure the cross functional team is committed and delivering on the goals. Earn the trust and commitment from the broader AWS organization including product teams, legal, finance, field sales, marketing and the broader partner teams. Serve as a key member of the Global Alliances team in helping to define and deliver the overall partner strategy. Set and manage customer acquisition targets working with the broader partner and field teams. Identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to approach with a joint value proposition for using AWS. Ensure that AWS is the Preferred Cloud Computing platform for the partner's internal and external workloads. Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team. Basic Qualifications The right person will possess 15+ years of experience in the technology industry working across alliances, corporate development, sales, marketing and business development. Clear track record of delivering on large (multi-hundred million dollar+), complex, global program initiatives requiring innovative and long term oriented thinking. Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives, including field sales leaders to accelerate adoption of new technologies and platforms. Preferred Qualifications Proven ability to work with strong technical leaders, product teams and solutions architects with the ability to influence road maps and GTM initiatives. Ability to create unique strategic partner plans and deliver against a set of aggressive goals. Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional internal and external audiences. Strong written communications skills. MBA preferred.
