Our team is building the next generation of services allowing our customers to quickly deliver end to end, direct to consumer video offerings as well as expanding the capabilities of live content distribution.We're looking for top-notch engineers with a knack for figuring out how to build and break robust, high performance systems.
Collaborate with technical program management, leadership and other engineers to design, scope, estimate, implement and test product features
Define test plans and guide the team in building a rock-solid product from the ground up with continuous integration and automated test execution
Stay abreast of industry best practices and actively contribute to continuous improvement
Demonstrable expertise in software engineering with an emphasis on testing disciplines
5 years of experience building scalable services with common programming languages and the ability and interest in learning new ones
History of Java based web service development
Familiar with the concepts and benefits of Service Oriented Architecture, RESTful web services, and Microservices.
Additional useful skills:
Previous experience with test planning and test automation. At CTS we all share the responsibility of testing our software, and we want well-rounded engineers who understand how to both build a service, and verify its behavior
Experience with Docker containerization, Maven and TeamCity will come in handy
Production use of Kubernetes and Zookeeper for container management
Git and Github proficiency in the enterprise environment
