Sr. Product Manager, Vendor Services & Benefits in Seattle, Washington

We have a bold vision to build an Amazon Prime program for our vendors - by offering the right suite of Prime benefits and services, we will transform how we partner with vendors to grow their business and delight Amazon's customers. As the Sr. Product Manager - Vendor Services, you will own the overall N. America product vision and define the menu of benefits/services we offer to vendors.

The ideal candidate has a strong retail, consulting and/or product management background. They can develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives but also roll up their sleeves, dig in and get the job done. Strong business judgment, ability to influence cross-functional teams, a customer-centric "Think Big" mindset and strong analytical skills are essential. This opportunity requires excellent product management, prioritization, and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate ambiguity.

The role's key responsibilities include -

  • Define a data-driven product vision, develop business cases and requirements, and prioritize competing opportunities.

  • Conceptualize and incubate innovations, proof of concepts, and pilot programs across AVS offerings.

  • Develop the associated pricing, fee structure, and segmentation strategy for vendor services and benefits.

  • Champion the vision and strategy - influence stakeholders across multiple functions (business, product and program teams) and across all levels (up to SVP) to define and deliver solutions.

  • Understand customer (vendor) needs, defining clear project plans and executing to high expectations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 7+ years of retail, consulting, product management, or relevant experience.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical approach and bias for data-based judgment. Experience leveraging customer insights to drive product decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done.

  • MBA or Master's Degree.

  • "Think Big" strategic mindset - experience driving new innovations (product) from concept to launch.

  • Strong track record of earning trust and influencing both peers and senior leaders in a cross-functional environment.

  • General manager/owner mentality and entrepreneurial drive.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate ambiguity.
