Job DescriptionThe mission of TRMS is to make Amazon the safest and most trusted place on Earth by protecting the innocent and deterring the ill-intentioned. We enable customers to transact throughout the Amazon ecosystem with confidence by building fraud and abuse tools that are applicable across business lines, geographies, product types (e.g. physical, digital), and payment methods. By monitoring behavior across Amazon, TRMS is uniquely positioned to holistically block attacks while reducing customer friction. Last year, we protected millions of customers from identity threats (billions of username and password combinations obtained from external sites by malicious hackers) and blocked millions of fraud attacks against Amazon that saved money for Amazon. We use a combination of machine learning algorithms and an extremely talented group of investigators to help prevent fraud. While our algorithms processed billions of orders last year, our investigator population was equally instrumental in helping Amazon by manually investigating millions of orders from our customers. Every new business that is launched on Amazon (think Amazon Go, Amazon Pay, etc.) depends on our technology and investigators to keep our customers safe. You would be part of a team directly contributing to Amazon's bottom line! As Amazon's flywheel continues to spin, the TRMS organization will grow congruently during 2017. This position will partner with tech and non-tech senior leaders in TRMS to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives including talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. This role is also accountable for driving key initiatives and projects in areas such as organization design and annual talent processes. The individual in this role will work with global teams, driving organizational change initiatives and develop talent management plans for their client group. This role will partner closely with HR colleagues globally. To be successful, you must understand the organiztions you are supporting. You'll need strong analytic skills and the ability to translate client business plans and goals into human resource capabilities needed to achieve results. You must be able to interface effectively with professionals at all levels. You'll need excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and planning ability, and the agility to function in a fast paced and innovative environment. Basic Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree is required with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a professional HR role. Individuals must have broad knowledge and experience in human resource management, especially in performance management, employee relations, and coaching. The ideal individual will have demonstrated experience supporting employee populations in large enterprise environments. Preferred Qualifications This individual must have a proven ability to diagnose problems with strategic thinking skills, as well as drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative. Experience partnering with business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business setting is required. He/she must have global experience including working in a matrixed environment requiring influencing skills.
