Northwest Seafood Processors Sanitation Worker in Seattle, Washington
Duties include cleaning and sanitizing all production machinery and equipment throughout plant including conveyor belts, screens, filters, fryers, pipes, walls, totes, rollers, tables, and freezers, and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25lbs and frequently lift or move up to 50lbs.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; extreme cold and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Must be able to work independently, able to follow verbal and written instructions, detail-oriented, fast paced, team player, and able to meet the attendance requirements. Previous food plant sanitation experience is a plus.
