          Orthopedics
          Seattle, WA
          36 Hours/week
          Night Shift; 7:00pm - 7:30am

          This is a twenty-four bed inpatient nursing unit specializing in the care of orthopaedic and medical surgical patients. Care is provided for adult patients. The orthopedic patient population includes: total joint replacements, Hip preservation surgeries, thrombosis of extremities, impaired skin integrity, fractures and amputations. Nursing practice is based on a team nursing philosophy. There is a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and coordination of patient care with physical and occupational therapists, social workers physician assistants and MDs.

          Required Qualifications:Current WA State RN license; one year Inpatient, Acute Care, or Medical Surgical experience.Preferred Qualifications:Orthopedic experience.
