The Amazon Devices team designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Kindle family of products. We have also produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Dash, and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create?

As a Talent Acquisition Manager and a leader within Amazon, you will be expected to drive the recruitment strategy to meet the hiring forecasts for several teams within the hardware organization. In this position, you will partner with the teams responsible for delivering the beautiful designs of our products, maintaining our product integrity, and keeping our products connected across all of our existing and future product lines. As a manager you will be responsible for building, managing, and developing a high performing team to deliver against aggressive hiring targets in a competitive market. You will partner with internal clients at the executive level and collaborate with recruiting leadership to build a candidate-centric Amazon recruiting experience.

This is a Leadership recruiting role. Major objectives/goals for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline such as Business or Human Resources, or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience along with 3+ years management experience

  • Previous experience recruiting in the Consumer Electronics space, preferably wireless devices

  • Exhibits excellent judgment

  • Strong analytical thinker to problem solve and creative in approach to talent acquisition

  • Highly inquisitive to challenge the status quo

  • Track record of attracting and developing top talent and building high performing teams

  • Data driven approach with strong analytics and the ability to create, measure and scale the right work workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team

  • Strong process and auditing skills

  • Evidence of continuous customer obsession, ownership and driving results
