Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Global Recruiting Leader to support Amazon's corporate organizations: Human Resources, Finance, Legal and Corporate Affairs. This role has the unique ability work across all of Amazon's of businesses and impact each senior leadership team. The leader will partner with Hiring Managers, business leaders, and HR Business Partners to set and drive strategy, goals, process, and metrics while managing a small client-aligned recruiting team. They will manage and coach a team who own finding, scheduling, assessing, and closing senior talent. The Principal Executive Recruiter will be fully responsible for owning and executing executive level (Director and Vice President) searches across all Amazon business units. This person will need to be well-versed in all aspects of an executive search including creative candidate sourcing, candidate generation and development, client management and offer/negotiation. The role will include the following responsibilities: Conducting research to map target companies and the right candidates for Amazon Creating robust search strategies that will identify and attract the best and brightest Serving as an expert for technology and product leadership recruiting, including work on continuous company and talent mapping in key tech areas for the company. Developing innovative ways to raise the bar on how Amazon recruits tech and product talent. Calibrating candidates with hiring managers and senior leaders Developing those prospects into candidates, engaging them and performing assessment/screening Continually contributing to the knowledge base of the group and Amazon, as a whole, by providing education on relevant industries and talent pools/profiles Building out talent networks in technology and product sectors and tapping knowledgeable industry sources to develop an on-going pool of candidates Leading client update meetings on active searches Conducting on-site interviews and participating in debriefs; performing 360 reference checks and presenting/negotiating employment offers on behalf of Providing strategic guidance and advice in a true partnership with executive leadership Develop search strategies, conduct research, perform thorough assessments and present qualified candidates for critical technology and product executive searches Learn about Amazon's overall needs in these functional areas and develop strategies for individual and team success in the identification and attraction of senior-level tech and product talent To be successful, you will need to exhibit the following traits: Research acumen and creativity; An individual who can learn new tech and product domains quickly and understand how to craft effective search strategies within those domains Superb communication skills; a compelling communicator able to engage the attention of busy, senior executives Highly articulate, able to convey complex arguments and engage with senior level executives in a polished and professional manner Combine tenacity with tact; know when to apply more pressure and when to give in Self-assured, not easily thrown, able to think on your feet; this individual may be called upon to work on highly confidential searches with very senior leaders Outgoing and gregarious, enjoy interacting with a variety of people Inquisitive; a strong desire to learn Basic Qualifications 10+ years of Recruiting experience with demonstrated experience executive sourcing and research.
