Amazon Fresh is building the future of grocery shopping for our customers and seeking a talented, driven, and highly analytical In-stock Manager to drive selection and in-stock for our fast growing same day delivery service!
If you love to solve big problems, think big, and dive deep you may be an Amazon Fresh Instock Manager. You could be building a new perishables supply chain, defining how we measure the customer experience, or inventing new buying systems that deliver customers the freshest and best quality product from many hundreds of growers, farmers, kitchens, and manufacturers. Instock Managers own the inventory and operations for their category. They are responsible for all areas of the supply chain and drive Instock performance through designing tools and reporting to help the business scale improvements in fill rate, turns, vendor lead times, and forecasting. They also partner closely with (Vendors and/or Vendor Managers) to achieve revenue and margin growth, Tech teams, and Operations teams to create processes, build tools, audit results, as well as Design and support new initiatives.
The successful candidate will communicate effectively across teams and levels, while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. Our team culture is goal-oriented, collaborative and driven to achieve results. 5+ years’ experience in general management, consulting, operations, project management, IT, retail, consulting and/or finance
Proficiency in SQL and Excel
People management experience
Strong proficiency in business intelligence, including creation of complex queries using SQL, validation of data sets, and distillation of data into actionable insights
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPivot and Visual Basic
Demonstrated ability to own and deliver results
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
Refined written communication ability
