Manageability Services Group (MSG) is the development division within GFS. This team is responsible for developing tools in the areas of network deployment automation enabling Online Services to reach Webscale. The success of Microsoft relies heavily on this team and this position provides the opportunity to be part of that in a big way. Our team uses the latest Microsoft technologies to automate one of the largest networks in the world.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Software development using C#, SQL, Silverlight and Powershell
-Automate end-to-end network device deployment process
-Interact with Networking Engineers and other business users to understand their needs
-Taking ownership, ability to work with limited information and strong focus on delivery are critical success factors.

Skills & Qualifications:
-Strong C# and SQL Server skills
-Preferred skills WCF, Powershell and Silverlight
-Good understanding of computer networks and TCP/IP preferred
-Passion and dedication to get things done.
-Cross boundary collaboration and ability to work in an agile team environment

Experience Required:
-5+ years of software engineering experience; previous enterprise development through multiple cycles is desired
-Experience using agile development methodologies
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)
-Previous experience in developing Network related applications highly desired
