Harrison HealthPartners is seeking a highly motivated Endocrinologist with an interest in expanding the premier endocrinology and nutrition center on the Olympic Peninsula. Over the past three years, the endocrinology practice has more than doubled in size and now offers patients expanded services with a outpatient clinic practice and the regions only outpatient diabetic education and nutrition center.

  • Our clinic uses a team based care model and medical home model with a strong partnership between Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Certified Diabetic Educators, and a well developed care team focused on maximizing the patients experience allowing all care team members to work at the top of their license

  • Onsite Dietitian and Triage Nurse and Nurse Diabetes Educator/Certified Pump Trainer to support the practice.

  • After hour calls are minimal with a dedicated APC providing inpatient diabetes management.

Essential Duties:

  • Understand, support, and implement the mission of the facility to deliver health care to those in need in the performance of all job responsibilities.

  • Ensure that patient care meets or exceeds the facility quality standards.

  • Ensure that patient satisfaction meets or exceeds standards set by the facility.

  • Educate patients on both clinical and managed care.

  • Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested and appropriate.

  • Function as an effective clinic team member.

  • Meet productivity standards.

  • Effectively use clinic financial and other performance information.

Education:

  • MD or DO

Experience:

  • Preference for 3-5 years experience as a practicing physician.

License/Certification:

  • Washington State Medical License

  • Board Certification/Board Eligible
