CH2M Transportation Project Manager - Bellevue, WA in Bellevue, Washington

CH2M’s Bellevue, WA office is seeking a high energy, team player to join us as a Senior Transportation Project Manager.

This opportunity is your chance to lead multi-disciplined transportation projects that focus on highway, roadway, and interchange projects and pursuits. You will be a Project Manager on large transportation projects throughout the Puget Sound geography and will be responsible for managing project teams to pursue work, perform preliminary and final design engineering and prepare documentation to satisfy the requirements for local and State roadway projects. In this position, you will have the opportunity to provide senior transportation engineering expertise, negotiate hours, develop and maintain schedules and budgets, direct and mentor project staff, and ensure quality reviews are completed. You will manage external client relationships as well as lead and participate in business development initiatives. You should be a self-motivated professional with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil/transportation engineering and 15-20 years’ experience in the transportation engineering field. Registration as a P.E. in the state of Washington required. Prior experience on large scale WSDOT projects preferred. As a Transportation Project Manager you will be asked to: Manage Projects • Have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project • Be responsible for communication, status reporting, decision making regarding technical approaches, risk management, and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved by the team. • Lead the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and organization of internal technical and support staff, and subcontractors for the project Mentor Staff • Lead, inspire and mentor staff and project teams Build Client Relationships • Focus on client service and satisfaction that leads to repeat business • Maintain a close relationship with clients, track upcoming project opportunities, and collaborate on project pursuits Develop Strategies that Win New Work • Partner with business development staff to pursue winning work • Drive technical innovation development throughout a pursuit • Implement client outreach plans for specific pursuits or for new clients

The minimum qualifications for this position are:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil/transportation engineering 15-20 years’ experience in the transportation engineering field Registration as a P.E. in the state of Washington
