US PS&P: Partner Marketing Manager - Cloud Programs

Did you know that 96% of all Microsoft revenue is generated through our 100,000+ partner organizations and 400k+ individuals who serve as the world’s largest third-party sales force? Would you like the opportunity to develop and drive global Partner Marketing strategy; enabling acquisition and retention, drive demand generation and strategic marketing communications?

The goal of the US Partner Programs Team Group is to drive revenue, share and CPE through the continued growth of a loyal and profitable Partner Ecosystem, influence program strategy development, enable partner communities, and be accountable for partner communications.

The Cloud Programs Marketing Manager is focused on driving programs to foster deeper engagement with Microsoft’s Cloud technology, with particular focus on Office 365. The marketing manager will serve as the US lead for cloud programs, providing thought leadership in close partnership with the Worldwide Partner Group, US M&O and segment teams, as well as the field sales organizations.
The Partner Programs team delivers the MPN program, capacity and planning, to-partner communications, the vTSP program, cloud programs and WPC to drive Microsoft revenue through our indirect partner channel to win business based on Microsoft technologies.

The role of the Cloud Programs Marketing Manager is:

          1. Drive membership and activation of US partners in Microsoft cloud partner programs including Cloud Essentials, Cloud Accelerate, and Cloud Deployment programs. Lead efforts to drive increased program benefits utilization and deeper commitment through relationship marketing, ‘to partner’ communications, and field engagement.

          2. Drive successful attainment of the Partner Cloud Activation (PCA) metric for the US. Collaborate with key stakeholders in the M&O and Corporate Accounts segments to deepen partner capability and commitment to deliver strong O365 sales through partners.

          3. Collaborate with WW Partner Group to define and execute cloud strategy and programs. Provide leadership to the US subsidiary on how to best execute and land key programs, while providing ongoing feedback to WW & HQ teams on field needs, blockers, and ways to optimize program investments.

          4. Lead efforts to innovate growth of non-traditional (born in the cloud”) partners within Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. This group of partners is vital to our cloud growth strategy. Finding a way to recruit and retain this key category will be critical to success in this role.

          5. Collaborate across US HQ, Field and WW Partner teams to support and advocate the needs of cloud partners to ensure continued focus and growth in partner capacity, capability, and commitment.
