          Does it make you mad when you can’t find what you want on the web? Even madder when you realize you’re getting generic search results obviously generated for the typical” user? You’re not typical! Search engines should be smarter and cater to your specific needs. That’s where you come in.
          As a part of our team, you’ll work on personalized Search efforts, and hone in on specific user context to retrieve better search results. We’re laser-focused on improving end-user relevance by developing new approaches to better capture the individual user experience. We ship high quality code and machine-learned rankers at a rapid pace, and are constantly experimenting with cutting edge techniques.
          You will be asked to take on some big challenges. Specifically, you’ll invest your time in three key areas:
          1. Building scalable, robust platforms to support personalized & contextualized ranking of search results for millions of daily Bing users.
          2. Experiment with radical techniques to increase the coverage & quality of personalized and contextual signals.
          3. Analyze the results of users interacting with Bing and your experiments to provide insight for feature development and refinement

          QUALIFICATIONS:
          We expect candidates to have a range of skills, typically including:
          4+ years designing, developing and shipping software
          Practical knowledge of modern C++ and/or C# and equivalent programming skills
          Strong algorithmic, data design, documentation and coding abilities
          A BS degree in CS; MS/PhD preferred
          Experience in information retrieval, machine leaning or data mining preferred
